The South Carolina Education Lottery has officially released the winning number combinations for its full lineup of draw games conducted on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2026. Players across the Palmetto State who purchased entries for the evening multistate drawings as well as the recurring daily in-state games are encouraged to review their tickets against the validated results to determine if they hold a winning slip.
Leading the Sept. 15 selections was the multistate Mega Millions drawing, which consistently draws widespread public participation. The winning white ball sequence drawn for Tuesday night was 27, 36, 43, 57, and 58, complemented by the gold Mega Ball number 16. Ticket holders holding combinations matching these numbers are advised to verify their tickets through authorized lottery portals to determine their respective prize tiers and payouts.
In addition to multistate offerings, the lottery agency conducted its regular daily Palmetto Cash 5 drawing. The five winning numbers selected during the Tuesday evening session were 07, 21, 24, 30, and 39. This rolling game remains a staple for local players seeking state-exclusive jackpot opportunities with drawings scheduled every single night of the week.
The South Carolina Education Lottery also posted the results for both sessions of the Pick 3 Plus FIREBALL game. During the midday drawing, the winning sequence selected was 0-3-5, accompanied by a FIREBALL number of 5. Later in the day, the evening drawing yielded the numbers 4-3-3, paired with a FIREBALL of 1. The FIREBALL feature provides players with an additional avenue to create matching combinations by substituting the designated special ball into their drawn lines.
For the higher-tier digit game, Pick 4 Plus FIREBALL, lottery officials confirmed the outcome for both scheduled daily intervals. The midday Pick 4 drawing produced the winning numeric sequence of 2-6-3-3, alongside a FIREBALL number of 5. In the subsequent evening drawing, the machines selected 4-3-7-2, with an evening FIREBALL number of 1.
Rounding out the Sept. 15 lineup was Cash Pop, which experienced an intriguing statistical outcome across its two separate daily sessions. During the midday draw, the winning number selected was 15. In an unusual repeat performance, the evening Cash Pop draw also produced the number 15, granting matching rewards to participants who selected the specific single-number outcome during both respective periods.
Following the verification of all official numbers, the South Carolina Education Lottery reminded participants of the precise administrative protocols required to redeem prizes. The state agency organizes its prize distribution procedures into distinct tiers, depending directly upon the total dollar amount won by the participant.
For smaller cash prizes valued at $500 or less, individuals are not required to visit state lottery headquarters. Instead, winners can readily redeem their prizes directly through any authorized South Carolina Education Lottery retail location. To secure immediate payment at a retail counter, the ticket holder must sign the back of the winning ticket before presenting it for validation.
For moderate winnings spanning from $501 up to $100,000, players must utilize the lottery agency’s mail-in redemption pathway. Claimants are directed to send their signed winning ticket, a thoroughly completed official claim form, and a legible photocopy of a government-issued photo identification card directly to the claims center. The agency strongly advises individuals utilizing the postal option to make personal copies of all paperwork and transmit the parcel via registered mail to SC Education Lottery, P.O. Box 11039, Columbia, SC 29211-1039.
For major windfalls exceeding $100,000, the lottery mandates that claims must be presented in person at the central headquarters in the state capital. Claimants must travel to the Columbia Claims Center located at 1303 Assembly Street, Columbia, SC 29201. To process the claim, winners must present the signed original winning ticket, the completed claim form, valid government photo identification, and their Social Security card to fulfill identity verification mandates. High-tier winners may also establish an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to enable the direct deposit of their prize money into a verified bank account.
Lottery officials emphasized that strict time constraints govern all payouts across every draw game in South Carolina. Players must claim all prizes within exactly 180 days from the original draw date. Once the 180-day window expires, any uncollected winnings from the Sept. 15 drawings will be forfeited under state lottery operating rules.
To assist players with tracking upcoming opportunities, the lottery maintains a consistent weekly broadcast schedule. The multistate Mega Millions drawings take place twice weekly on Tuesday and Friday evenings at 11:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Its multistate companion, Powerball, is drawn three times per week on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday nights at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
Meanwhile, South Carolina's daily draw games follow a strict twice-per-day routine. Both the Pick 3 and Pick 4 games, as well as Cash Pop, conduct their midday drawings daily at 12:59 p.m. Eastern Time, followed by evening drawings at 6:59 p.m. Eastern Time. The Palmetto Cash 5 drawing is held exclusively once per day, coinciding with the evening schedule at 6:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
Lottery administrators advise all participants to retain their physical tickets in a secure location and double-check all numeric combinations against official lottery records. Players seeking additional information regarding payouts, historical drawings, and downloadable claim forms can access comprehensive guidance through the official South Carolina Education Lottery claim portal.
